The second edition of ACC Men’s T20I Premier Cup is commencing on the 12th of April with Oman facing Bahrain in the Inaugural match of the tournament. Oman will host the tournament.
A total of 10 teams are participating in the competition namely, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Qatar, Bahrain, Cambodia, Kuwait, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The teams are divided into two groups:
Group A- Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia
Group B- Bahrain, Cambodia, Kuwait, Oman, United Arab Emirates
All of the teams will play against other 4 sides in their group once in a single round robin format. The top two teams from each group will go on to play the Semi Finals. The losers of Semi Finals will lock horns in the 3rd Place Playoff while the winners play the Final.
A total of 24 matches will be played during the competition. All of the matches will take place at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1 and Turf 2).
The Final of the competition will take place on the 21st of April.
